There was disappointment for Naomh Conaill of Donegal in Monday’s All-Ireland Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta final at the Banks as they went down to Wolf Tones of Meath in the decider after extra-time on a final scoreline of 2-7 to 0-12.
There were better fortunes for Termon in the women’s All-Ireland final.
Geraldine McLaughlin scored 4-4 as the Donegal side cruised to a 10-20 to 1-4 victory over Moycullen of Galway.
This year’s All-Ireland Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta was hosts by Naomh Muire GAA Club on the Lower Rosses with three of Monday’s finals being shown live by TG4.
