Minister of State Joe O’Brien says the new Economic and Community plan for Sligo will play a key role in the development of the county.
The County Sligo Local Economic and Community Plan was launched within the last hour.
The project, known as Sligo 2030 – One Voice One Vision, was launched by Junior Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development Joe O’Brien.
Speaking to Ocean FM News at the event, Minister O’Brien acknowledged the importance of this plan regarding Sligo’s development over the next 6 years.
Also speaking to Ocean FM News, Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council, Michael Clarke, says the plan will be of massive benefit to Sligo, both in terms of investment and education.
