The Sligo-Leitrim & District Soccer League has confirmed that, as it stands, 11 clubs have applied to enter the proposed new adult women’s junior soccer league next season.
The 11 clubs are:
Arrow Harps
Ballisodare Utd
Ballymote Celtic
Calry Bohs
Carrick Town
Glenview Stars
Gurteen Celtic
Manor Rangers
Real Tubber
Valley Rovers
Yeats Utd.
League officials have indicated that there may be room for one additional club.
The intention is to begin the new league next season, provided the various administration protocols can be agreed and put in place over the summer months.
The clubs who’ve committed are set to attend a meeting this Monday evening, June 12th, in Ray MacSharry Park at 7:30pm.
