Belcoo’s Brendan Dolan competes in this weekend’s World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt, Germany, which begins on Thursday.
Dolan plays alongside Daryl Gurney for Northern Ireland in an event which has a new ‘doubles’ format this year.
They play France in their opening Group D game on Thursday.
Ukraine are the third team in that group.
The Republic of Ireland are represented by Limerick’s Willie O’Connor and Kane Barry.
They are in a three-team Group E which includes Thailand and Croatia.
In all, 40 nations are competing in the World Cup of Darts 2023.
The event is being televised live by Sky Sports.
