Sligo Rovers players on international duty

Three Sligo Rovers players will be on international duty with their countries over the next week.

The New Zealand duo of striker Max Mata (pictured) and defender Nando Pijnaker are both in the New Zealand squad for two upcoming friendly games against Sweden and Qatar.

The Kiwis play Sweden on Friday evening in Stockholm followed by a match with Qatar in Austria on Monday night.

Meanwhile, Stefan Radosavljevic is included in the Faroe Islands squad for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against the Czech Republic on Saturday and Albania next Tuesday.

The League of Ireland Premier Division is current on a mid-season summer break because of the international games.

Rovers next Premier Division fixture is away to UCD on Friday, June 23rd (7:45pm).
