Poll shows more than half would continue to welcome Ukrainian refugees

More than half of voters asked, say Ireland should continue to accept all Ukrainian refugees who arrive here.

An Irish Times / IPSOS poll out today also shows that two/thirds of those questioned would be happy to have Ukrainian refugees in their own locality.

The poll also suggests that some people may feel conflicted about the refugee situation.

The figures indicate that some voters who believe there are too many refugees here, also believe Ireland should keep taking them.
