Met Éireann has issued a thunderstorm warning for counties Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Heavy showers with thunderstorms are expected.
The status orange alert will last from 6pm until 10pm tonight.
There is a chance of spot flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
