Independent Councillor Tom Conaghan has been elected Cathaoirleach of the Donegal Municipal District.
Cllr Conaghan, who served as Leas Cathaoirleach of the District for the past year will now take over the role from Cllr Niamh Kennedy.
Independent Cllr Conaghan was elected as Cathaoirleach at Tuesday’s meeting of the Donegal Municipal District.
Sinn Féin Councillor Michael McMahon was elected Leas-Cathaoirleach of the Municipal District.
