Section of Sligo to Ballina road closed for resurfacing works
People are being reminded that a section of the Sligo to Ballina road is closed for resurfacing works. The N59 at the Owenbeg townland is currently closed until 12th September to facilitate the works. Detour for traffic is via the R297 and R298 regional roads through Easkey Village.
