Two motorists have been caught speeding in Leitrim.
Gardaí in Leitrim Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks on the N4 when the motorists were detected travelling in excess of 100kph speed limit.
Fixed charged notices were issued to the two drivers as well as fines of €160 and 3 penalty points each.
Gardaí have issued an appeal to appeal to all motorists to slow down and stay safe,
