Sligo boxer Dean Clancy will be officially welcomed home from his European Games bronze medal success and Olympic qualification in Manorhamilton this Friday evening.
The North Leitrim village is where Clancy trains out of, at the Sean McDermott gym.
He has also strong family connections to Manorhamilton.
Clancy be paraded through the streets of Manorhamilton on Friday from 8pm – before arriving at the Sean McDermott boxing gym at the Bee Park Community Centre.
Locals are being encouraged to come out and welcome Clancy home on Friday.
There will be a social function afterwards in Gurn’s Bar from 9:30pm.
