Sligo narrowly beaten by Kerry



Kerry survived a massive second half scare from Sligo to win the  Ladies U16 B All-Ireland final in Ballinasloe on Sunday by a score of 4-10 – 2-13.

Sligo trailed by ten points at the break, but managed to close the gap back down to two points in the closing stages of the second half, but Kerry held on to secure a three point win.

Speaking to Ocean FM Sport after the match, manager Gerard Mullaney was very proud of Sligo’s performance.
