A man charged with the murder of another man whose body was found in the water at Slieve League has been remanded in custody.
Alan Vial appeared via video link at Letterkenny District Court this morning.
The 38 year old with an address in Killybegs was arrested last Thursday in the Letterkenny area and brought to Ballyshannon Garda Station for questioning.
He was later charged with the murder of Robert Wilkin on June 25th.
The court was told today that the book of evidence was not yet ready and the case was further adjourned until August 10th.
Gardaí recovered the body of Mr Wilkin from the water off Slieve League as part of inquiries earlier this month following a week long search.
The victim was from Northern Ireland and was known to police.
Gardai did not release the post mortem results for operational reasons.
