A woman has died in an early morning house fire in Carrick.
Emergency services attended the blaze in the area at around 5am this morning.
A woman in her 70s was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai have confirmed that the scene is currently preserved for a technical examination.
Investigations are ongoing.
