Staff at Sligo University are still having to deal with over- crowding issues heading into the weekend.
According to the latest INMO Trolley watch figures Sligo is the joint second most over crowed hospital in the Country today along with Cork University Hospital. Both facilities are reporting that there are 36 people waiting on trollies.
26 of the 36 people waiting in Sligo are reported to be in the emergency department.
Once again University Hospital Limerick has the highest number of patients on trollies with 95 people waiting on a hospital bed.
In total there are 357 people waiting on a hospital bed throughout the country today.
The number at Letterkenny university Hospital has fallen to 5.
