An investigation is continuing into a break-in Bundoran.
The homeowner was sleeping when the incident occurred and was wakened by the sound of intruders talking.
The incident happened in the Marine Lane area of the town at around 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon last.
While the man and woman gained entry the home initially, the homeowner shouted which caused them to run off.
Nothing was stolen during the course of the incident.
Gardaí in Ballyshannon are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
