It’s ‘Child’s play’ again for All-Stars



EJ Sligo All-Stars have confirmed that point guard Tom Child has re-signed for basketball’s new Superleague season.

Child played a key part in the All-Stars successful push for the end-of-season play-offs last season, averaging 18.5 points, 8.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game.

His return will be a welcome boost for head coach Shane O’Meara as the All-Stars look to build on a very satistifactory to the top tier of men’s basketball last season.

The All-Stars clinched a place in the top four of the northern conference last term, before losing out to play-off finalists Galway Maree at the quarter-final stage.
