Two men (one in his late 20’s and one his late 40’s) were hospitalised following a public order incident and alleged assault at Main Street in Letterkenny on Tuesday night.
Gardaí attended the scene following reports of an altercation involving a number of individuals.
A man in his 20’s was arrested and detained at a Donegal Garda station.
The scene was preserved for technical examination.
Investigations are ongoing at this time.
