It’s emerged that the victim of a serious weekend assault in Ardara had part of his ear bitten off.
The incident happened on Main Street on Saturday night last at around 10pm.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment to non-life threatening injuries.
Gardai are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who was travelling along the N56 at around 10pm on Saturday night and who may have camera footage including dash came are being urged to make this footage available to Gardai.
