Sligo-based Rescue 118 assisted in a rescue operation on Friday afternoon.
The team were called out to Mweelrea after a casualy was reported. They were joined by Mayo Mountain Rescue.
Using a winchman, the casualty was treated using the adult rescue valise and a hi-line before being airlifted to Mayo University Hospital in Castlebar.
