Sligo’s Mona McSharry goes in the final of the women’s 50 metres breaststroke on the opening day of the LEN European Under-23 Swimming Championships in Dublin.
The Grange women qualified second fastest overall from Friday morning’s heats, winning Heat 2 in a time of 30.66 seconds.
She is drawn in Lane 5 for Friday evening’s final, which is due to start at 6pm at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin.
