The Cavan-Leitrim Railway museum is set to reopen during weekends for Heritage week.
The museum, located in Dromod, were successful in getting a grant under the Community Grant Scheme 2023, and have re-laid up to 1km of narrow gauge railway track and restored locomotives and rolling stock.
The museum has also published a book detailing the Bord na Móna railways, and the book will be available for purchase.
The museum will be open on August 12th, 13th, 19th and 20th.
