Registration has opened for the public to take part in the Big Beach Clean for 2023.
Scheduled to take place from September 15th to 17th, the Big Beach Clean is part of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), organised by the Ocean Conservancy.
Participants will receive a free clean-up kit and can submit data on the type of rubbish they have gathered.
Last year’s initiative saw 42 tonnes of litter cleaned from the Irish coast and inland locations across over 500 clean-up events.
