Former Donegal LGFA footballers Kate Keaney and Caroline Kelly helped Aisling Gaels (Chicago) to lift the North American women’s gaelic football title at the weekend.
The cup was presented to the Gaels by current LGFA President Micheál Naughton, who previously managed Keaney and Kelly when Donegal bainisteoir to an All-Ireland LGFA intermediate title in 2010.
Keaney is currently working with US Soccer Federation in Chicago.
