A hiker was airlifted off Errigal Mountain over the weekend after suffering a lower leg injury.
The call out was issued yesterday morning after the person sustained the injury at the summit.
The crew from Donegal Mountain Rescue and paramedics were already on the mountain taking part in a charity event and were quickly on scene to help the causality and stabilise their injury.
Rescue 118 was subsequently tasked from Sligo and the person was airlifted off the mountain and brought to hospital for further treatment.
This was the fourth call out in the space of the week for Donegal Mountain Rescue.
