A Donegal charity has hit out at those behind dumping rubbish outside their store in Donegal Town.
Animals in Need Donegal took to social media this week to highlight the issue.
The charity currently has a unit outside the store for dropping off donations out of hours and open shelves to leave items for the public- free of charge- as a zero waste unit.
However in recent days, volunteers discovered takeaway rubbish left dumped on the unit.
In the statement, Animals in Need Donegal say that they have set up the unit in good faith but say they might have to remove it should instances like this happen again.
