A Leitrim Councillor is backing calls for the hospitality VAT rate to be kept at 9% in the upcoming budget.
The rate is due to increase to 13.5% and North Leitrim publican Felim Gurn has once again expressed his frustration.
With numbers significantly down in the North West and hidden costs, many of those in hospitality are said to be “hanging on.”
