Sligo GAA’s Competitions Control Committee (CCC) has agreed a number of date changes to its upcoming county finals in football and hurling.
The Homeland Sligo senior football championship final has now been confirmed for Sunday, October 22nd at Markievicz Park.
The Connacht Gold intermediate final will be played the day before, on Saturday, October 21rst, also at Markievicz.
The Junior A and Junior B football finals will take place on Sunday, October 15th.
Extra-time will be played in the event of a draw in semi-finals and finals.
Any semi-final or final replays will be Winner on the Day.
The relegation semi-finals and relegation finals in the senior and intermediate football championships will take place on the weekends of September 30th/October 1st and October 7th/8th.
These games will be rescheduled should there be a clash with the Senior Hurling Championship.
The Davis’s & Yeats Tavern senior hurling final between holders Easkey and Naomh Eoin, who beat Calry/St Joseph’s by 2-18 to 1-10 in Sunday’s semi-final, will be played on Sunday, October 1st at Markievicz Park.
