Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man in his twenties was attacked in the Donegal Road area of Ballybofey last Saturday night, September 9th.
The injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries sustained.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling on the Donegal Road near Ballybofey between 11:20pm and 11:45pm on the night, and who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have video camera footage (including dash-cam) from this area at this time, are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
