Police carry out patrols in Enniskillen to combat rise in anti-social behaviour

Police have been carrying out patrols in Enniskillen in recent days to combat an increase in anti-social behaviour.

Over the last few nights, groups of young people have been gathering in the car park beside Curry’s in the town and setting off fireworks.

In a statement, police say that not only is this keeping local residents awake, especially young children and scaring pets but it is also a danger to the businesses close by.

Police also say that they have been stopping and checking those in the area and will continue to do this and are appealing for those responsible to stop.
