Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis to visit Sligo

The relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis will pay a visit to Sligo this month.

It will visit St Anne’s Church in Sligo Town on Saturday, September 16th as part of its pilgrimage, and will also visit Knock, Derry and Newry throughout the month of September, before returning to the diocese of Assisi in Italy.

Carlo Acutis passed away of leukaemia in 2006 aged 15, after previously devoting his wholelife to Jesus.

The relic will continue to come to Ireland every three months, until all 26 dioceses on the island have been visited.
