A multi-agency rescue operation saw three people and a dog rescued from the rocks at Maghera Strand on Saturday evening.
Due to an incoming tide, they had became stranded.
Both Killybegs Coast Guard and Arranmore RNLI were involved in the rescue, co-ordinated by Malin Head Coast Guard.
At 7.15pm following the report of the stranded persons and their dog stranded on rocks, Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked to the rescue.
A spokesperson for Killybegs Coast Guard said “We proceeded by road to the location. The three persons were rescued from the rocks by the Arranmore RNLI who deployed their Y-Boat.”
The lifeboat crew took the 3 persons to Portnoo pier before the Killybegs Coast Guard took them back to their car at Maghera.
