Warning over localised flooding in North West



Motorists are being urged to be on high alert as a weather warning for the North West comes into effect for 5pm this evening.

 

A rain alert for Connacht, Donegal, Cavan, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, and Tipperary expires at six in the morning.

 

While a status yellow wind warning has been issued for Kerry and West Galway, and ends at five o’clock in the morning.

 

Met Eireann says there’s the potential for localised flooding as well as difficult driving conditions.
