Donegal County Council are hosting a number of information events right across the county regarding the supports available for Vacant and Derelict properties.
Grants of up to €84,000 are available to property owners who’s vacant or derelict homes will be their main private property, or will be made available by the owner to rent.
Financial supports are also available under the Repair and Lease scheme, which aims to bring vacant properties back into use to lease to Donegal County Council for social housing in areas where there is a need.
The information events will run from Monday September 25th to Thursday, October 5th all over the county.
The first in the region takes place in Letterkenny in the Public Services Centre on Monday September 25th from 5pm-8pm.
The next is in Killybegs on Thursday, September 28th in the Neil Mór Community and Enterprise Centre between 3pm and 7pm.
Two events are taking place on Friday September 29th, one in Ballyshannon in the Abbey Arts Centre from 11am to 2pm, and in Donegal Town between 3pm and 7pm in the Public Services Centre.
The last information event in the region is in Teelin on Tuesday, October 3rd from 11am to 2pm in the Slieve League Visitors Centre.
