Public Consultation begins on Active Travel Schemes for Collooney

Public Consultation is to begin on two projects in Collooney from tomorrow.

An online portal will open tomorrow for people to have their say on both the Collooney to Castlebaldwin scheme and the Collooney to Toberbride scheme under the Active Travel Scheme for the N4, with an in-person event taking place on October 4th, in the Reading Wing Community Hall in St Paul’s Church of Ireland in Collooney between 2pm and 8pm.

It is hoped that a safe pedestrian crossing will be installed at the Collooney roundabout when works are completed.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, local Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy welcomed the developments.
