Major cruise ship bows out of Killybegs visit due to Storm Agnes

A record breaking cruise liner has bowed out of docking in Killybegs today due to Storm Agnes.

The 326m Norwegian Getaway has over 4,800 passengers with a guest capacity of over 3,960.

It would have been the biggest ship ever and one of the last liners for this tourism season to arrive into the Donegal port however had it to reroute due to the high winds.

Killybegs has welcomed nearly 30 ships this tourism season.
