Sligo Rovers confirm appointment of Andrew Feakins as new club CEO

Sligo Rovers have confirmed that Andrew Feakins has been appointed as CEO of the club.

He previously held the role of Managing Director of IPS Global Recruitment, and relocated to Geevagh in Sligo three years ago, after running IPS for the last two decades.

The Essex native had a brief spell as a player in his teens with Southend United, before playing semi-professionally for Grays United and Billericay Town until his late twenties.

Feakins assumes the role immediately, and will be in charge for Friday night’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash with Dundalk.

The new CEO spoke to Ocean FM Sport’s Dónal Ryan on Wednesday.
