It’s been claimed that 1 in 30 private water supplies has failed to meet the drinking waters standards this is compared to just 1 in 734 public water supplies.
As a result, calls are being made for urgent action to be taken to help improve the quality of private drinking water provided by Group Schemes and small private supplies.
