Planning permission granted for new €650,000 sports facility outside Ballyshannon

Planning permission has been granted for a new €650,000 sports facility outside Ballyshannon.

Last Friday, Creevy Activity Hub members along with a number of politicians viewed the proposed plans and hear their ambitions for the project.

The Creevy Hub is seeking government funding to progress the project which would include a 65X40m astro pitch with fencing and floodlighting, a 400 metre running track and secondary multi-use games area with facilities for tennis and basketball.

New changing facilities, increased parking capabilities in the area as well as a community garden are also amongst the proposed plans for the development.
