More clarification is being sought from Leitrim County Council over its position on estates in Dromahair.
Councillor Mary Bohan says there are a number of estates in the area that need taking over by the local authority.
Ahead of the winter months, Councillor Bohan believes that the general upkeep and maintenance is imperative.
