‘Preposterous’ – Call for Donegal to be a hunting holiday location to shoot deer is slammed



An animal rights group has condemned as preposterous a proposal from a Donegal councillor that the county could become a ‘hunting holiday’ location a part of a plan to cull deer. Cllr Michael McClafferty says there’s an urgent need to control the deer population, but Gerry Boland of Animals Behind Closed doors says introducing trigger-happy hunters is not the way to do it
