More incentives needed for Sligo labourers to return to construction sector – Taylor



There needs to be more incentives for labourers in Sligo and elsewhere to return to the construction sector.

 

That’s according to local Fianna Fail Cllr Paul Taylor, who has been reacting to a new report published by the Banking and Payments Federation has found 60 per cent of firms are having difficulty recruiting machine operators and tradespeople.

 

There are fears that the shortage in workers in the North West will make it more difficult to address the housing crisis.
