Sligo native and former Eastern Harps clubman Kevin Johnston managed Corofin to the Galway senior football title on Sunday as they beat holders Moycullen at Pearse Stadium by 1-11 to 1-9.
Johnston, who previously managed Tourlestrane to the sixth county title of their historic Sligo seven-in-a-row (in 2021), lives and works in Galway.
He has a strong managerial pedigree in club football, having also guided Ballintubber of Mayo to back-to-back county titles in 2018 and 2019.
Here, he is pictured with his dad Denis following’s Sunday’s Galway SFC final success.
