Work has begun on Connaughton Road to install two new charging bays for electric vehicles.
As a result, a stop-go system will be in place until 2pm this afternoon, and between 6.30pm and 11pm this evening.
The works should be completed this coming Friday between 10am and 1pm.
Motorists are advised to expect delays while the installations are carried out, and Sligo County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
