An investigation has been launched into a bus fire in Donegal earlier this week.
The vehicle went on fire while there were a number of children on board.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon in the Cranford area of the county.
A motorist, travelling behind the bus noticed the fire and alerted the bus driver to pull in.
All pupils were safely evacuated from the bus before the fire spread and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle itself was badly damaged by the blaze.
In a statement, Bus Eireann says it is conducting a full investigation into the incident.
