There are concerns locally that parking charges may increase across the North West.
It comes after Dublin City Council have announced they will be raising prices across the capital.
That move means it could cost up to four euro an hour to park in certain areas of the city.
Local Sinn Féin Councillor, Arthur Gibbons, says he would not support such a move if it was ever brought in in the North West.
