Funding for river conservation projects in Sligo & Donegal



Inland Fisheries Ireland is to provide over €1m in grants for new river conservation projects.

 

County Sligo is to get just over €34,000 while Donegal is to receive a share of €3,500.

 

The funding is aimed towards the conservation and rehabilitation of salmon and trout.

 

Eligible angling clubs, fishery owners and other stakeholders are invited to express their interest in applying for funding for 2024.
