The Minister for Education has been urged to rectify what has been labelled as “unfair treatment” of school transport bus escorts.
Speaking in the Dáil, Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn said pay and conditions received by escorts does not reflect the importance of their work.
Bus escorts assist children with special needs and disabilities to and from school.
