The details have been announced for an anniversary mass for Private Seán Rooney.
Private Rooney, a native of Newtowncunningham in Donegal, was killed in December last year after a convoy of Irish soldiers came under fire in south Lebanon.
He was 24 at the time.
Private Rooney was a member of the 27th Infantry Battalion at Aiken Barracks in Dundalk at the time of his death.
The anniversary mass for Private Rooney is taking place on Tuesday, December 12th at 10am in the Church of Holy Family, Dundalk.
