A speed survey is to take place to take place on road outside a primary school in north Leitrim.
This follows concerns from parents that a number of motorists exceed the speed limit when travelling in the area in and around St. Brigid’s National School in Drumkeerin.
The issue was raised in this month’s meeting of Manorhamilton Municipal District with Fianna Fáil Councillor Mary Bohan saying the speed survey will ultimately lead to an improvement in safety in the area.
